Real knights
In this special water blog series, we would first like to take you to De Berckt. Plunge into the sparkling medieval swimming paradise with a water-spitting dragon and a moat. The entire holiday park is dedicated to the Middle Ages. As soon as you walk through the entrance of the park, you immediately feel like a real knight or damsel. Of course, the thematic subtropical swimming pool is also completely decorated in the appropriate style.
The pool is a true paradise for young and old! For example, slide down the Crazy Castle Moat rapids on a coloured tire. A super fun adventure! Do you like even more speed? Jump down the water-spitting dragon slide. Younger warriors may enjoy themselves all day long in a separate children's pool with Ed's Pirate Ship.
Could you do with a rest after all the action? Enjoy the hot whirlpool, sauna, Turkish bath or solarium in the relaxation area. There are plenty of options. If you want you can grab a bite after swimming. French fries and swimming remain a golden combination. Children can choose from a children's menu with chips, a snack of their choice (frikandel, croquette or chicken nuggets), a fruit drink plus a nice surprise.
Special tip: During the regular Dutch school holidays, there’s disco swimming from 19:00 to 23:00 hours. It’s always a big party!
